Kakadu

The first week was spent in Kakadu National Park, which is in the Northern Territory, two hours outside of Darwin. The park is listed as a World Heritage Area for both cultural and natural characteristics-it has a rich Aboriginal history and presence, and an abundance of diverse wildlife. The group camped each night and traveled through the extensive park to investigate the flora and fauna of the area.
