Location

The meeting will be held in the Thurgood Marshal Library conference room, which is on the second floor (take the stairway to your right after you enter the library). The buildling is marked with a red # on the map.

Parking

Despite what the signs say you can park in the main parking lot (lot J, marked with a red asterisk on the map)

Directions

Bowie State University is on MD-197 (Laurel-Bowie road), 5 miles east of 295 (also known as the Baltimore Washinton Parkway. Therefore, the simplest directions are these:

Take 295 to the MD-197 exit. Take MD-197 (Laurel-Bowie Road) 5.2 miles east to Bowie State University. Turn left into the campus. Take a right at the stop sign, onto Jericho Park Rd. and then left onto Loop Road. Park in the main parking lot (J, marked * on the map) and find your way to the library (# on the map).

The Plant Biology Minisymposium 2010 (March 27, Sat. at the University of Maryland)

The minisymposium is free to all but registration is also required

Bowie State University is about 10 miles from the University of Maryland and quite close to the Pautexent Research Center where the Plant Molecular Biology meetings are often held. To get there, just take 197 (Laurel-Bowie Rd.) about 6 miles east from the BWI parkway (Google maps).

We will organize car pools from the University of Maryland.
