Carol Pontzer has conducted important investigation in modern immunology and related fields in her brief but productive career. She is the author of numerous patents, refereed papers and competitive grants.She was one of the most valued and popular teachers in the College of Life Sciences until she decided to change career paths and took her present position at NIH. Her participation in the MLFSC program allows her to continue with one of her first loves, teaching.
