Curriculum vitae
Previous Education:
Duke University Conservation Biology M.E.M. 2000
Cornell University Natural Resources Management B.S. 1997
Research Interests:
I am interested in how patterns of land conversion affect
species diversity and persistence, particularly in the tropics.
My research focuses on the role of intervening land cover
surrounding forest fragments (i.e., matrix) on the isolation
and degradation of bird communities in Jamaica, and the interaction
of life history traits with species persistence.
Location of Research:
Jamaica, West Indies
