Research Interests:
I am studying how females gain information from a multiple component display during mate choice. Specifically, I'm researching how female satin bowerbirds (Ptilonorhynchus violaceus) use the paint of males during their mate search. Paint is a part of the multiple component display of males and I am relating female use of this cue to differences between females as they choose a mate.
