The fourth annual BEES Graduate Student Research Day and Recruitment Round Up was held Friday, January 23, 2009, in the Bioscience Research Building.


Peter Thompson, Holly Martinson, Julie Byrd Hebert, and Alana Doty, four senior graduate students, presented their research.


Peter Thompson
gave a talk titled “Clonality and the molecular epidemiology of the oyster parasite Perkinsus marinus”.

After the presentations, faculty, students and 12 top recruits for the 2009 class gathered to share their enthusiasm for BEES research.
