The completed application is evaluated by the Program's Admissions and Review Committee on the basis of guidelines and criteria established by the Steering Committee. To be considered for Graduate School Fellowships, applications for the fall should be completed by the preferred deadline of January 15th. Otherwise, the deadline for fall admission is February 15th (although some applications may receive consideration after this date). We begin making admissions decisions about 1 February, and have a rolling admissions policy, so for best consideration of your application don't wait until March (by which time we may have already filled most available spaces). Applications are not encouraged for the spring semester, but exceptions can be made on a space available basis.

International Applicants:
Applicants seeking admission under F (Student) or J (Exchange Visitor) visas must meet the following deadlines for submitting applications and academic credentials:

Fall - February 1 of prior academic year (unless the graduate program in which you are interested sets an earlier deadline).

Spring - June 1 of prior academic year (unless the graduate program in which you are interested sets an earlier deadline).

Applicants seeking admission under A, E, G, H, I, and L visas and immigrants and U.S. citizens with foreign credentials, must adhere to the following deadlines:

Fall - May 1 of prior academic year (unless the graduate program in which you are interested sets an earlier deadline).

Spring - October 1 of prior academic year (unless the graduate program in which you are interested sets an earlier deadline).
