BSCI 424 — PATHOGENIC MICROBIOLOGY — Fall 2000

How Grades Will Be Determined
for Daytime Class

ALL EXAMS MUST BE TAKEN.

Exams not taken will be averaged as zero.

There will be two mid-term examinations and a final examination.

You must take all three examinations.

Make-up exams will be considered only for valid medical reasons occurring on the day of the exam and only if a letter authorizing absence on that day is provided by a licensed physician.

The grading formula is as follows:

Lecture Grades (750 pts Total):

  2 Mid-term Exams + Final Exam (250 points ea.) = 750 points

Lab Grades (250 pts Total):
  3 Mid-term Exams (60 points ea.) = 180 points
  1 Unknown Report = 50 points
  1 Oral Presentation & T.A.'s Eval. = 20 points

    TOTAL = 1000 points
