I am hoping to recruit two graduate students for the Fall 2011 semester, so if you are interested please contact me for setting up a rotation. Prospective students will join a well funded laboratory and highly interactive work environment which includes five graduate students and one postdoctoral researcher. They will have the possibility of learning a wide range of techniques (from making your own phage up to using animal models techniques from all levels of modern biological investigations are performed in my lab). We have weekly lab meetings and I will meet with each of my students individually also at least once a week. I am looking for enthusiastic, hard working students that are not easily frustrated in the face of adversity. “It’s not that I’m so smart, it’s just that I stay with problems longer.” Albert Einstein |
