Student Organizations

American Society for Microbiology (ASM)
The campus chapter of the ASM is dedicated to getting students excited about the field of microbiology. They sponsor field trips, social events and activities that encourage interaction among students and faculty.

Alpha Chi Sigma Professional Chemistry Fraternity
The goal of Alpha Chi Sigma is to promote chemistry as a science and as a profession. The group provides tutoring to students in introductory Chemistry courses and hosts social events. 

Life Sciences Student Organization (LSSO)
LSSO sponsors programs that aim to improve student/faculty relations and inform students on important topics relevant to the Biological Science major. 

UM Pre-Dental Society
The Pre-Dental Society provides useful information for students preparing for dental school. This includes admissions, application procedures and DAT success strategies through discussions and guest speakers.
