Peer Mentor Program The mission of the Peer Mentor Program is to help students in the College of Chemical and Life Sciences set and attain academic, career, personal, and social goals by offering a peer perspective. Peer Mentors strive to help new students acclimate to college life, teach students about university opportunities and excite them about science and the University of Maryland. Peer Mentors act as ambassadors of the college by collaborating with each other, university and college staff and faculty.
