The Biological Sciences Major:

The Biological Sciences major at the University of Maryland is designed to offer students a rigorous exposure to the modern experimental disciplines within Biology. All students take the university required CORE general education program. In addition Biological Sciences students take a common set of Basic and Supporting Courses along with upper level courses in the specialization area of their choice.
