- BEES: Behavior, Ecology, Evolution, and Systematics. 0401M Focuses course work on organismal biology. Appropriate major for students interested in careers in ecology or environmental sciences, or graduate school in organismal biology. "Sample" 4 Year Plan
- BIVS: Individualized study. 0401N Appropriate when student has special interests not met by any other area. Permission of Assistant Director required.
- CMBG: Cell and Molecular Biology and Genetics. 0401P Focuses course work on molecular biology, cell biology and genetics. Requires two semester of biochemistry. Appropriate major for pre-medical students and students interested in graduate school in molecular biology and genetics."Sample" 4 Year Plan
- GENB: General Biology. 0401S Allows student to explore broad course work across departments. Appropriate for public school education career, wild life management, graduate school in any area of biology. "Sample" 4 Year Plan
- ENTM: Entomology. 0401R Prepares students for careers or graduate work in any specialized areas of entomology.
