Fields of Study within the College of Chemical and Life Sciences
The College of Chemical and Life Sciences offers B.S. degrees in Biochemistry, Chemistry and Biological Sciences (with a choice of six areas of specialization). The college also provides advising for one specialization within the Environmental Science and Policy students major and sponsors a joint degree program in Biological Science/Secondary Education with the College of Education. The following links provide specific information on degree requirements for each field of study. Degree requirements change from time to time, and students are normally held to the degree requirements that were in effect at the time they declared their current major.
If you are unsure of your present major, you can find this information on the Appointment Status page within the Records and Registration Web site. If the major listed there is not correct, visit the Life Sciences Student Affairs Office in Suite 1300 Symons Hall or see your advisor to make the necessary changes.
