ITG Partnerships

Apple Computer Inc. - The College and Apple Computer Inc. have partnered on several levels including a CLFS online Apple Store, sponsorship of our Bioscience Research & Technology Review Day and a symposium entitled "Innovative Technologies for Emerging Biotech Companies".

The College was also recently asked by Apple Computer Corporation to participate in the production of a video entitled “Why Mac for Science?”. This is the result of the excellent work some of our research groups have accomplished via the Macintosh platform. Apple was also interested in the approach and philosophy of the IT Group within the College. Those featured will include: Milliard Alexander, Steve Wolniack, Mike Landavere and Dean Allewell. In addition to the video, Apple will publish a profile story on the web which will also include the research efforts of Charles Delwiche and Michael Cummings.

Dell Computer Inc. has partnered with The College of Chemical and Life Sciences to providing a Dell Premiere web portal. This portal solution provides product information, ordering and increased service for Dell products.

Allison Matthew Associate (AMA)/Laserline provides printer service and supplies to the College. Through this partnership we have been able to increase our level of printers support while controlling costs.
