Caenorhabditis elegans

We are studying the C. elegans homolog of the Arabidopsis RTE1 gene in order to obtain insight into the molecular function of this conserved gene in both plants and animals. The project involves the study of gene expression patterns, protein localization, and characterization of the mutant phenotype.
