Regulation of Protein Kinase CTR1

We are interested in understanding the mechanisms of CTR1 regulation during ethylene signaling.   Specifically, we are investigating the role of the novel CTR1 N-terminus in regulation of the CTR1 kinase domain.   Additionally, we are studying the nature of the direct interaction between CTR1 and the subfamily 1 receptors (with emphasis on ETR1).   Is this interaction static or is it a dynamic relationship dependent upon the absence/presence of the ethylene signaling molecule?
